Upon arrival at Gilgit Airport, a brief city orientation introduces the regional atmosphere before continuing toward Naltar View Point. This stop provides panoramic mountain scenery, with an optional excursion to the alpine lakes for those interested, subject to additional charges. The day concludes with a drive along the Hunza River toward Hunza Valley, where the dramatic transition from river plains to high mountain landscapes becomes increasingly evident.
The second day focuses on the historical and architectural heritage of Hunza. Visits to Baltit Fort and Altit Fort offer insight into the former princely states and traditional defensive architecture of the region. The exploration continues at Ganish Old Settlement, one of the oldest preserved communities in Hunza, known for its communal spaces and wooden mosques. In the late afternoon, travel ascends toward Eagle’s Nest, a renowned viewpoint where the sunset gradually illuminates Rakaposhi, Ultar Sar, and surrounding peaks.
