The journey begins in the morning from Skardu with departure by jeep toward Deosai National Park. As the route gradually rises from the valley, the landscape opens into broad high-altitude plains, distant mountain ridges, and the expansive scenery that gives Deosai its distinctive character.
During the safari, time is available to experience the open plateau, stop at scenic viewpoints, and observe the quiet and remote environment of the park. Depending on road access and seasonal conditions, the route may include areas such as Sadpara side access, Bara Pani, Kala Pani, meadow stretches, or nearby viewpoints that reflect the natural diversity of Deosai.
The day also offers time for short walks, photography, and appreciation of the lakeside and mountain landscape before returning to Skardu later in the afternoon or early evening.
Important note: Deosai is a seasonal destination. Vehicle access depends on weather, road opening status, and travel conditions. Trips are best planned during the months when the plateau is open and safely accessible.
